I know it's hard.
My wife and I have held each other and cried.
And life continues.
I will not stop writing. I am, however, looking into ways to put my books on more platforms besides Amazon. If you don't want to contribute to Bezos anymore, I completely understand. Reach out to me and I will find a way to get you a copy of my books. I'm not going anywhere.
Please consider joining your local library. There's also the Queer Liberation Library which is free to join to anyone in the US. If they don't have books by the author's you love, request their books. Check out the classes/events they offer. Now is the time to come together and make our community stronger.
A few things I will be doing from here on out:
Shopping mainly with small businesses
Thrifting as much as possible
Preparing a garden at home (Aldi had a greenhouse for $20)
Utilizing local farmer's markets
I don't have much else to say now. Just know that I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. We will prevail. It will be hard, but we will make it. This is not our lesson to learn.
